Real Estate Isn't The Most Important Thing.......

....when you come across stories like this. I understand this post has nothing to do with real estate, but it is important enough that I thought our network of nearly 200,000 people should receive a heads up.  This medal of honor recipient (he was nominated for three) passed away.  May you rest in peace soldier and thank you for your many sacrifices.

Thanks for this. Sometimes we get engrossed in our world of real estate that we forget of other things. We should more posts such as this perhaps once a week? or two?

@Kyle: What's great is there is an entire generation of new Bob's serving our country today.  Like Bob, unfortunately, they don't get the recognition for their service.

@Will: It does help to put things in perspective, doesn't it?

People like that built our country. Makes me proud but I would love to have talked to him and listened to what he thought about the current direction of this country. True American.

Sad but true too about the current men and women fighting. They get little coverage other than bad for doing what their country asked them to do.

Liked your comment about job creation for America. I too think we need to focus on a basic job creation package that would not just allow more flexibility to create jobs but encourage big companies to do business here (come here/start here/stay here) and make our manufacturing (the backbone of America) a successful option in this country again. If we don't have those jobs it will eventually break our country. You can only consume so much. You have to produce to have the $ to consume. But then again with the unions you can't pay a guy with a high school education $80,000 a year to turn a screw driver either. Thanks GM. Sorry for the ramble.
